Overview
To be able use the DTU with an Dynamics Empire Online environment for a customer, several settings need to be configured in Empire. These can be done using an account that has the appropriate permissions (SUPER?) in Dynamics Empire.
The application also needs to be given consent which needs to be done using an account that has the Global Admin (?) in Azure Active Directory for the customer tenant.
App registration
- Log onto the correct Dynamics Empire environment and open Azure Active Directory Applications
- Click New
- Enter the correct information
Enter the Client ID: {eddb5636-cda5-485b-a1e2-096a55edbb52}
Enter the Description: CNS Hosting - Business Central DTU
Enter the Contact Information: support@cns.nl - Apply the required groups for each company to be read Required: D365 BACKUP/RESTORE
- Apply the required permission sets for each company to be read Required: 2C-ALG-LEZEN ALLEN, D365 BASIC
Consent
- Click Grant Consent
A new dialog will pop-up where an AAD admin can log on. - After logging on a page requesting the neccessary permissions, choose Accept
- If registration was succesful the following message will be shown.
